At JPS Hair & Beauty, we’re proud to be a curl-by-curl dry cutting salon trained in the CHEA Method, tailored specifically to honour natural texture, promote hydration, and give you lasting results you’ll love.

 

We specialise in dry cutting curls, one curl at a time. Every curly head is unique, which means no wet comb cuts, no one-size-fits-all layering, and absolutely no fluff. Our approach is customised to your curl pattern, density, lifestyle, and goals.

 

We proudly follow curl-respecting techniques including the Curly Girl Method and CHEA’s globally respected training, and we’re committed to educating you on how to care for and love your curls at home.

This is where the curl journey begins or where you reignite your love for your natural texture. If you’re not ready for a cut just yet but want to learn how to bring your curls to life, this session is for you.

  • Curl consultation
  • Deep cleanse & hydration treatment
  • Roping method for optimal curl definition
  • Curl styling & partial or full diffuse dry
  • Bespoke curl coaching (application techniques, product knowledge, routine building)

You’ll walk away with defined, juicy curls & the knowledge to recreate them at home.

At Home Preparation

To get the most accurate and flattering cut, please prep your curls before your visit:

  • Wash and condition your hair the day before
  • Avoid gels, oils, or heavy stylers (leave-in conditioner is fine)
  • Let your curls dry in their natural pattern, no buns, ponytails, or braids
  • Arrive with hair down
  • If you absolutely need to tie it back beforehand, that’s okay. We’ll work with whatever you’ve got
